Sarah Loughran, Executive Vice President

Sarah Loughran is Executive Vice President at HealthGrades and has helped to drive HealthGrades’ mission to guide America to better health care and directed much of its development since 1998.

Ms. Loughran has strategic and operational responsibility for HealthGrades’ business-development and quality improvement services for hospitals. In addition, Ms. Loughran led company product development from 1998 to 2006, including the creation of the initial methodologies used for HealthGrades’ hospital, nursing home and home health ratings; new data identification, acquisition and deployment; and application development.

She has directed HealthGrades’ corporate communications and marketing initiatives since 1998. This has resulted in substantial consumer and business awareness of HealthGrades via articles and stories in well-known media outlets.

Ms. Loughran is a regular speaker at industry conferences and received a BA in economics from Vanderbilt University and an MBA and MHSA from the University of Michigan.
